If you'd like a focus on eastern Europe instead of the west, try the Ottoman Total Overhaul. Empire Realism offers a similar battle-field system. If you'd like historical realism in the form of slower battles and the fatigue system being used to represent unit cohesion, with more differences between factions (such as different tech trees and unique buildings), try Imperial Splendour. If you particularly enjoy playing as the Thirteen Colonies or United States, try The American Revolution. (This can be combined with small mods such as Shokh Hates Sieges).

If you'd like to play any faction with vanilla-style game-play, try Empire Total Factions.
